P.R. Rooney Real News Briefs (Special Report: Trump Addresses Nation on Border Crisis—Tuesday Night 1/8/19)

President Trump delivered a brief, but hard-hitting address to the nation tonight, underscoring the crisis at our Southern border, and seeking support to build the Wall. SEE THE SPEECH HERE. It’s amazing to me that this is even an issue—$5.7 Billion for border protection that politicians from both parties have long promised?! In comparison to the untold Billions they waste regularly on God knows what? Boggles the mind, and shows how much work we need to do to counter the wave of socialism that’s hit our shores.

Meanwhile the news media, assorted leftists, and moronic celebrities did the hysterical freakout bit, almost in one voice seeking to discredit the event before it happened by claiming the President would be LYING!

In fact, the networks were under pressure to “fact check” the President’s speech! Have you ever heard of such a thing before? Utter lunacy!

CBS News told us how to watch President Trump’s prime-time address tonight. Ever heard this kind of language from news networks before Trump? So we’re children who have to be told how to interpret our President speaking to us?

What are they so afraid of?

Here’s Chuck and Nancy’s rebuttal speech, BTW. Full disclosure: I didn’t bother watching it! Why do the Speaker of the House and the Senate Minority leader get equal time with the President? Again, when did you ever see this before? I did hear it was a real snorer, though, and if this photo captures the mood, I’m glad I missed it.

Tucker Carlson of Fox News is one of the few voices of sanity on the air. This evening he said that nobody in DC wanted Trump or a wall.

The President is planning to visit the border Thursday.

Stand strong, people. There is no plausible argument against funding and finishing the wall. It IS a national emergency. Those standing in the way have lost their minds, and must be defeated.

Find your Representative in Congress and tell them to “Build That Wall!”
